At Robby’s Septic Tank Service in Lakeland, Florida, we offer a lot of “other septic services“. Some of the other services we provide include obtaining permits for drain fields, performing inspections for real estate sales, mandatory Green Swamp inspections, inspections required for home additions and video inspections.

A permit is required to repair a failed drain field. We have the expertise to prepare and submit all of the required paperwork necessary to obtain a permit.

If you are purchasing a home that has a septic system, we strongly recommend that you contact us to schedule a real estate inspection prior to finalizing the purchase. We get many calls from people who recently bought a home, only to find out after moving in that their septic system was not working correctly. If this had been discovered prior to the sale, the cost of the repair could have been taken out at closing. We do a thorough inspection of the system, giving you a detailed written report about the system, so you will know what kind of system you have and the location of the tank and drain field. We also advise you on how to maintain your system to prevent possible problems in the future.

Mandatory Green Swamp Inspections–sounds intimidating, but we take all the worry out of it. If your home is located in the Green Swamp Area of Critical State Concern, you will receive a letter every 5 years from the Health Department requiring you to get your septic system inspected. Contact us, and we will pump and inspect your system, as well as provide you with the paperwork to send to the Health Department.

In the event you are planning an addition to your home, you will be required to get a septic inspection. We can perform the necessary inspection and paperwork.

Another of our other services is performing video inspections. When you have a clog or other problem in your plumbing or septic system, we will use snakes with cameras to determine the source and location of the issue. This makes it much easier and more economical to fix the problem, instead of going in blind and having to dig up pipes without knowing where to start. Many homeowners associations and insurance companies require video evidence of a problem before they offer coverage to fix the plumbing issue, so the footage we provide may be very useful.
